(FEBRUARY 1, 2004) The Worlds fastest Sprint Cars, the O'Reilly World of Outlaws, will be making their only 2004 Southern California appearance at Perris Auto Speedway on Saturday, February 28th. In addition to the Outlaws, fans will be treated to a special Late Model Invitational (2 heats and a main event) featuring 20 of fastest Late Model drivers and cars on the West Coast.

Bloomington, Indiana's Steve Kinser, The King of the Outlaws, is fresh off his 18th World of Outlaws championship in 2003 and a $20,000.00 victory at Australia's Parramatta City Raceway in January. The 48-year old has won an amazing 497 World of Outlaws main events, but will be seeking his initial triumph at The PAS when the Outlaws invade town on the 28th. The second-generation driver nearly bagged his first PAS victory in 2002, but was inches behind Oklahoma youngster Darryn Pittman in a thrilling photo finish.
Last season Kinser finished 5th when the Outlaws came to Perris Auto Speedway on February 22nd. Former Outlaws champ Danny Lasoski won last years PAS event driving for NASCAR Nextel Cup superstar Tony Stewart. Following the Dover, Missouri veteran to the checkered flag was Pleasanton, California's Brad Furr, Wooster, Ohio's Jac Haudenschild, Brian Paulus of Pennsylvania and Kinser.
Perris Auto Speedway is conveniently located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds, home of the Southern California Fair, approximately one hour east of Los Angeles. Take the 215 Freeway, exit at the Ramona Expressway and go east two and a half miles to the fairgrounds.
