The DIRT 358-Modified Twin 20-lap features will add an interesting mix to the evening's racing, and drivers will have no time to waste in getting to the front in the short-distance events. Going back through the speedway archives, you'll find six different first time winners on previous Twin 20 nights, including Roger Phelps, John Ramsey, Dave Donath, Billy Whittaker, John Barker, and Steve Hulsizer. The first 20-lap event will offer a guaranteed starting spot for the Super DIRT Week Sunoco/A-Plus 358-Modified Championship in Syracuse on October 6. Also on hand and looking for the coveted Syracuse spot will be other top drivers including Jason Barney, Steve Hulsizer, Ryan Baye, Gus Schmidt, and rookie driver Wayne Reutimann Jr.

Tim Clemons and Willy Decker have been the drivers to beat in the DIRT Sportsman class, with five total victories between the pair, out of five races to date. Jerry Holmes and John Pietrowicz are the only two winners in the DIRT Pro Stock division, while in the Pure Stocks, Jeff Pastorella is the driver to beat as Dave Mannise will not be running the whole season. J.J. Courcy, Brian Thomas, and Randy Marsh are the only winners so far in the Slingshot division. On average, over 110 cars show up weekly for the action packed five division show, which is completed around 10pm to allow everyone time to go home and prepare for the week ahead.

Completing the evening's racing action will be a gigantic fireworks display by American Fireworks of Utica, set off from the old speedway dragstrip.
