SALEM, Ind. - Mark Dismore was taken out of contention early in the Tecumseh 300 at Salem Speedway and finished a disappointing 31st. On lap 112, Dismore was hit from behind by another competitor, which sent the Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com Chevrolet Monte Carlo hard into the turn one wall and ending his night early.

"It's so aggravating," Dismore said. "I had never been to Salem Speedway before, so I was just trying to get some laps and experience at this place. The leaders were behind us, but we were holding our own in front of them. This Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com team just can't seem to catch a break. We'll collect ourselves and move on to Toledo next week. We'll try our best again next week."

Stan Herzog, co-owner of the Herzog Motorsports entry, was as disappointed as Dismore. "It's so upsetting when something like this happens. A driver, not running for points, intentionally takes us out to catch a break. It cost us in the points battle and damaged a great race car. The Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com team will get it fixed and head to Toledo."
