Rich Segvich, back again for the 2005 ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts season.

As the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts season draws closer and closer, more drivers are getting ready for the upcoming 2005 campaign. Hoosier State veteran, Rich Segvich is no exception as the 15-year veteran has announced his plans for an all out assault on the 2005 ASA Late Models season and he's also got exciting news regarding the upcoming season.

"We are happy to announce that the Segvich Racing team and Doug Lane of Lane Automotive have come to agreement with sponsorship from All-Star Performance." Said an excited Segvich. "All-Star Performance has come on board as our Main Sponsor for the 2005 racing season in ASA Late Models and we can't be happier, we definitely can't wait to go to Ft. Wayne. (For the 2005 season opener, May 7th at Baer Field (IN) Speedway)" Continued the Michigan City, Indiana veteran.

In 2004, Segvich ran the full season with the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts and became part of the Winner's Circle Program with 100% perfect attendance. His loyalty was rewarded with a 23rd place finish in the final points.

Rich began his racing career at 12 years of age in the Motocross ranks, his stock car racing career began at South Bend (IN) Motor Speedway in Street Stocks. In 1991, he advanced to Late Models, scoring two track titles at Benton County (IN) Speedway. Rich also finished second in the point standings at Plymouth (IN) Speedway. Overall he is a three-time Late Model Track Champion who holds two Track Records. Rich has raced in 24 Different States and has also won a 250-lap enduro. Rich was the winner of the stock car fest televised at Anderson (IN) Speedway. During his 15-year career, he has over 100 feature event wins.

Rich's 2005 plans call for him to run his Chevrolet Monte Carlo at every ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts event as well as select shows at his home tracks of South Bend (IN) Speedway and Illiana (IN) Motor Speedway, where the fourth race of the ASA Late Model season will be held, on Saturday June 4th, the Citgo/MDA 100.For more information on the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts, point your browser towards: www.asalatemodels.com
