CONCORD, NC - Victory is just as sweet the second time around as Johnny Sauter and the A.P. Performance Racing team found out Sunday afternoon at Concord Motorsports Park in Concord, North Carolina. Sauter won ASA's BF Goodrich 300, recording his second win of the season.

Starting from the second position, Sauter immediately gained the lead from pole sitter Robbie Pyle. Johnny would lose the lead only once during the day when he pitted on lap 123. But, once again, the A.P. pit crew had an excellent stop that put him out first of the cars who pitted. Sauter would regain the lead again on lap 205 and never look back.

"My crew is great," Sauter commented. "Joe and his crew got me out first among the pitted leaders and I can't ask for anything more than that."

Johnny and the A.P. Plasman Group Chevrolet were the class of the field all day long, leading 218 laps and recording the fastest lap of the race.

"My car was awesome all weekend," said Sauter. "We had a tire strategy, stuck with it, and ended up in victory lane."

Sauter now has a commanding 117 point lead for the Pat Schauer Memorial Rookie of the Year title. The win also moved him into the 7th position in overall standings, just 40 out of the top five.

Up next, ASA will travel to Nashville Speedway USA for the Luxaire 300 presented by Hecht's Department Store. The green flag flies at 8 pm (Central) on June 2nd with live flag to flag coverage on TNN.
