Round two of the Carmel Sod Fall Festival is complete.

The racing Grandfather did it again. Winning his second straight Modified/Late Model 35 lap oval challenge. Just as last week he passed his son with five laps to go and Jim Begley made things interesting and those three we're involved in a blanket finish.

In Stocks, Wayne Garner took over Jeff Shackleford's ride for the day and went wire to wire as he picked up his first career Stock Oval feature. Rick Howard finished a car length behind in his second straight week in the Randy Slick picked up last week's B Feature and a strong finish this week for this Roadrunner turned Bomber 8 turned Stocker.

In Late Model Figure 8, the three time three time three time Late Model Speedrome Champ Bruce Tunny wins in a thriller over Doug Greig in this 35 lap main event for Late Models.

Roadrunner A feature was a hard fought battle between Keith Taylor and Frank Turpin but in the end Keith Taylor won his first Roadrunner A feature of the season. In Roadrunner B it was Jeremy Ross who battled James Toby Eads to the line.

Racing resumes next Sunday at 2pm. Stocks, Modifieds, Roadrunners and Late Models.
