FULTON, NY...Last Saturday at Fulton Speedway it appeared that Tim Fuller would cruise to victory in the 35-lap Riverside Inn / Ferris Industries DIRT Big Block Modified feature race. But, the first and only caution period of the race came about on lap-30. That allowed Alan Johnson to restart behind Fuller. Johnson took advantage of the situation and would later pass Fuller for his third straight, and fourth victory of the season at the Home of the Victoria 200.

DIRT Big Block Modified rookie driver Matt Fink raced out to the early lead at the start of the main event from the pole starting position. Fink only led the opening circuit before fellow rookie driver Kevin Bates took command of the feature field. Bates would lead through lap-12. Fuller came flying past on the top side of the track to became the third leader of the event on lap-13.

The one and only caution period of the race came on lap-30 when teammates Tom Sears and Joe Isabell came together entering the third turn area. Fuller lost what was a big lead and now had Alan Johnson restarting right behind him. Johnson restarted strong and took the feature lead on lap-31. Fuller came right back charging, but was never able to regain the top spot.

Johnson claimed the victory in the Jeff Rudalavage owned, Native Poker sponsored entry. Fuller had to settle for second with Danny Johnson, Ryan Phelps and Kevin Bates finished in positions second through fifth respectively. Bob Buono, Ron Marsden, Jason Parkhurst and Curt Prevo finished in positions second through fifth respectively. Clark made the winning move past Parkhurst on lap eight.
