358-MODIFIEDS JOIN BIG BLOCKS UNDER LOOSER 2004 DIRT RULES FORMAT IN 2007 AT BREWERTON AND FULTON

FULTON, NY -- Both the Brewerton and Fulton Speedway have a rich history of 358-Modified racing, and 2007 will be no different. Each sister track speedway will allow 358-Modifieds under the looser 2004 DIRT Motorsports rules, to race with the Big Blocks for all regular weekly DIRT points paying shows. This means 2004 DIRT 358-rules, no rev limiter and cars must weigh 2,400 pounds.

Each 358-Modified joining the weekly DIRT Modified wars at Brewerton and Fulton will be treated as a Big Block Modified. There will be no 358-Modified track points or bonus awarded, and the Hoosier tire will be mandatory for all 358's. This could very well be a popular move with local 358-Modified teams.

These 358-Modified teams racing under 2004 DIRT Rules will have an even larger incentive to support Brewerton and Fulton Speedway on a weekly basis. Both tracks recently announced a special 3-race Big Block/358-Modified Mini-Series to be run under Fulton Speedway Victoria 200 rules.

Only these 3 Mini-Series races at each track plus the Victoria 200 at Fulton will include sail panels and the possibility of an open tire rule. The champion of each series will become the only two guaranteed starters for the $25,000 to win, 22nd Annual Victoria 200 at Fulton Speedway on September 29.
