FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- (June 20, 2003) Kenny "Let's Get Ready To" Rumble battled Mike Hammerle the entire 25-laps of the UMP Late Model feature Friday night at the Fredericktown Raceway, but when the dust settled it was Rumble earning his second feature victory of the season at "The Rock."

Hammerle settled for second place with John Bohn taking third, Rodney Pense fourth and Ronnie Jarrells fifth. They were followed by Mike Abney, Paul Belken Jr., Tommy Worley Jr. (driving the #13 car of Charlie Savage) and Brian Parsons.

Jarrells won the first heat with Rumble second and Parsons third. Pense won the second heat with Bohn second and Hammerle third. Rumble won the dash with Hammerle second and Jarrells third.

In the Modified class, Brent Thompson picked up his first feature win of the season at the Fredericktown Raceway on his first visit to the track this season. Joe Giesler finished in second place with Billy "The Kid" Smith third, Tommy Worley Sr. fourth and Scott Carron fifth. Thompson won the heat race with Giesler second and Worley third. Thompson also won the dash with Giesler second and Smith third.

In the RAMS Mini Stock feature, Jathon Cruse of Desloge capped off his triple crown night (winning his heat race, the dash and the feature) after holding off Dave "The Wolf" Wofford in the feature. Rick Ruch settled for third place with Marty Boyer fourth and Bill Nickelson fifth. They were followed by Jon Paul Reando, Brian Cox, Mike Henderson, Susan Stewart and Rusty Voyles. Cruse won the first heat race with Ruch second and Voyles third. Wofford won the second heat with Boyer second and Jason Brewington third. Cruse won the dash with Ruch second and Wofford third. In the Pure Street class, it was a triple crown night for Theran Pearl of Bismarck. In the feature Pearl was the winner with Brad Thurston second, Ronnie Bader third, Lenny Terrell fourth and Dewayne Tilk fifth. They were followed by Dustin Homan, Russell Mathews, Dustin Winick, Bill Kinney and Michael Abney Jr.

Pearl won the first heat with Thurston second and Josh DeSpain third. Winick won the second heat with Travis Goodman second and Mathews third. Abney won the third heat with Wesley McDowell second and Kinney third. Pearl won the dash with Winich second and Thurston third.
