St. Augustine, Fl. - 9/28/00 - With three rain-outs in a row Florida Speed Park is having to have double point races for the rest of the season. This is for all divisions. The 2000 season will end October 14, 2000. This weekend have officials crossing their fingers as another rain-out would be a disaster for the points.

Robert Deal, Rick's Mufflerman, #15 modified driver has a chance to be the National Champion in the American Racing Association Weekly Racing Series. As for the track division champions, Deal as the Rick's Mufflerman Modifieds sewn up. Todd Ponce has the big lead in the Sportsman Division. Brad Pilinko is set to take the Alpha Communication Hobby Stocks. Tattoo Dee's Old Rooster Mini Stocks has Jay Farris in the lead while Ron Thomas holds the lead in Thunder Trucks. Last but least Donnie Oden has the points lead over last year's champion Larry O'Steen.

Saturday, September 30, Pit gate opens at 1 PM; practice starts at 2 PM and Grandstands open at 5 PM.
