SAMSULA, FLORIDA - Jerry Symons of New Smyrna, FL leads Goodyear drivers onto the one-half mile track for the FASCAR Goodyear Challenge Series 100 Saturday night at New Smyrna Speedway with racing starting at 7:30 p.m.

Symons has 514 points and is followed by Wayne Morris of Mulberry, FL, who is second with 437 points. Morris was second in the Goodyear race on July 4th.

Jason Boyd of Orlando, FL won the July racing event, but has since moved on to American Speed Association racing, but still is third in 2002 Goodyear Challenge points with 434.

Tony Amico of Clearwater, FL is fourth with 433 marks and Mike Hovis of Ft. Meyers, FL is fifth with 418 marks.

Qualifying is scheduled for 6 p.m. and racing for all classes begins at 7:30 p.m.
