Three can win title.

SAMSULA, FLORIDA -- Jerry Symons is ready to claim championship honors Saturday night at New Smyrna Speedway in FASCAR Goodyear Challenge Late Model Series Advanced Auto/Discount Auto Parts 100 racing, but it's not over yet.

Symons of Clermont, FL driving the Gene Kelly Roofing Chevrolet holds a slim Goodyear series point lead with 920 points and Wayne Morris of Mulberry, FL in the Crenshaw Motorsports owned Michael Holley Chevrolet follows with 898 marks.

Tony Amico of Clearwater, FL in the Executive Racing School Chevrolet is third in the mix with 834 points. You can count on Jason Boyd out of Orlando, FL in his GPC Staffing Chevrolet to be a sore spot to the leaders and his speed could throw a wrench into any winning plans.

Boyd left the Goodyear Challenge Series early this season for an ASA ride and was also the 2002 Speedweeks Champion without a Late Model loss.

Symons has won two Goodyear races at New Smyrna this season and also has one top 10 finish. Morris has finished second twice here and also has a top 10 effort. Amico has two top-five's and also a top 10. Boyd has recorded a victory and a top 20 on this track.

Morris needs a victory for any chance of a championship and then Symon's finishing order will make a difference. Amico has to stay close to the top drivers and be a little conservative. Boyd will run flat out for a win even without a chance of winning the title.

Qualifying is at 6 p.m. and racing for all classes is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start.
