Prime Wheel Corporation To Sponsor Team LA Motorsports
LaGrange, Ind. (February 27, 2002) – Team LA Motorsports announced today that Prime Wheel Corporation has signed to be a Major Associate Sponsor for the 2002 season. Team LA Motorsports and driver Joel Kauffman will compete full-time with the Sunoco Super Series in 2002 with the hopes of winning the Season Points Championship.
Kauffman, 16, hopes to build upon his strong 2001 season that saw him win the Hubler Group Rookie of the Year honors, along with a sixth place finish in season points. Kauffman holds several series records including the youngest driver to ever compete with the series, the youngest driver to be fast qualifier, the youngest driver to have a top 5 finish, and the youngest driver to win rookie of the year honors.
