PORT CITY RACECARS EXTENDS SPONSORSHIP OF CRA SUPER SERIES FOR 2007 AND 2008 SEASONS

Salem, IN (November 9, 2006) -- Port City Racecars has agreed to extend their sponsorship of the CRA Super Series for the 2007 and 2008 seasons. The 2007 season will be the seventh straight season that Port City Racecars has supported the CRA Super Series as a Sponsor. Port City Racecars will award a $100 Product Certificate to the highest finishing driver and a $50 Product Certificate to the second highest finishing driver in a Port City Chassis at every CRA Super Series event in 2007. Port City Racecars will also award the highest finishing driver in a Port City Chassis in the final 2007 CRA Super Series season points with a $500 Product Certificate and the second highest finishing driver in series points with a $250 Product Certificate.

In all Port City Chassis's won seven series events in 2006 led by 2005 CRA Super Series Drivers Points Champion Jeff Lane with two wins. 2005 CRA Super Series Rookie Of the Year Tommy St. John used a Port City Chassis to finish second in 2006 series championship points and recorded his first ever series win on September 4 at Winchester Speedway. Chuck Barnes Jr., Chris Gabehart, Brian Campbell, and Eddie Van Meter all recorded one series win each in a Port City Chassis with the CRA Super Series during the 2006 season.

Chris Gabehart used his Hendricks County Motorsports Port City Chassis to out qualify the other 71 cars on hand and set a new track record in last weekends All American 400 at the Music City Motorplex at the Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee.
