Twenty-Two Different States Represented for November 3, 4, 5 Music City Motorplex
NASHVILLE, TN -- This November will mark the 24th Annual All American 400 at the Fairgrounds Music City Motorplex in Nashville, TN. This year's All American 400 will feature two of the best Late Model divisions in the country, ASA Late Models and the CRA Super Series. Each division will compete for 200 laps with the country's top Late Model drivers competing for the famous Copley Champions Guitar and the $10,000 winner's purse.
CRA officials have received over seventy-five entries already including 2004 All American winner Chuck Barnes Jr. and 2005 winner Jason Hogan. March 18th Spring Clash winner Eddie Mercer and local favorite Cecil Chunn are set to compete. The 2006 NASCAR Late Model Champion of the Motorplex, Mark Day, has also entered.
ASA officials have noted over forty-five entries for their 200-lap segment of the 400. Local sensations Keeton Hanks and Michael Driskell are both expected to compete along with the 2006 GM Performance Parts Shootout Champion in the Challenge Division, Eddie Hoffman. 2006 ASALMS Northern Division Champion, 17-year-old Jesse Smith, and ASALMS Southern Division Champion and Appleton Rack and Pinions Rookie of the Year, 16-year-old James Buescher are also expected for the November All American 400.
Friday November 3rd will be practice day for both the ASA and CRA cars with free grandstand admission. Saturday November 4th will be another round of practice for both divisions along with qualifying kicking off at 2:30pm followed by the ASA and CRA last chance races at 5:00pm. Grandstand gates open at 2:00pm on Saturday with adult admission only $10, kids $3. Sunday November 5th is the 24th Annual All American 400. Grandstand gates open at 11:00am with adult admission $15, kids $3. An on-track autograph session starts at 11:30am followed by the ASA All American 200 at 1:00pm then the CRA All American 200.
