Jason Dietsch Racing Will Compete in Six Sunoco Super Series Events
Salem, Ind. (March 13, 2002) – Jason Dietsch, owner and driver for Jason Dietsch Racing, has announced that his team will again run a limited Sunoco Super Series schedule in 2002 with the goal of competing for series Rookie Of The Year honors in 2003. The Edgerton, Ohio, native competed in four Sunoco Super Series events in 2001.
“I would like to win a championship with my modified before I move up,” remarked Dietsch, “We will race in six Sunoco Super Series events in 2002 in order to keep my rookie status for 2003.” “Our team will concentrate on getting some good experience at those six events, plus we will continue to build our team in expectation of running the full series schedule in 2003.”
Dietsch will be competing for the Planet Pages USA Modified Series Championship in 2002. Dietsch’s first event with the Sunoco Super Series in 2002 will be on Sunday, May 26th at Toledo Speedway. From there, Dietsch will participate in the July 4th event at Angola Motor Speedway, the July 27th event at Shady Bowl Speedway, the August 17th event at Indianapolis Raceway Park, the October 5th event at Winchester Speedway, and the October 20th event at Indianapolis Raceway Park.
