Billy Ogle continues R-O-Y challenge on UDTRA tour; Tennessee campaigner claims Advance Auto Parts Hard Charger Award in Iowa.

(Knoxville, TN-- June 27, 2002) Billy Ogle, Jr. continues his quest for the Lucas Oil sponsored Rookie of the Year award on the United Dirt Track Racing Association (UDTRA) tour. Ogle, who is a leading contender for the top rookie title is currently posted in the 16th position of the overall UDTRA national championship standings. On Tuesday evening, Ogle claimed the Advance Auto Parts Hard Charger of the race award during the UDTRA stop in Denison, IA with a solid finish after starting in the 24th position. The talented driver from Knoxville, TN and team owner Bill Reed will be in Greenwood, NE for a pair of UDTRA sanctioned events at Nebraska Raceway Park on Friday and Saturday (June 28-29).

Ogle pilots the Calhouns Restaurants/Die Cast Digest/UPS sponsored Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Bill Reed Racing. Tennessee based partners in the Ogle-Reed racing efforts include Bonanza Produce, Fine Trucking, BiLo Market, Sun Belt Sun Rooms and West Haven Racing Equipment. The team competes in GRT Race Cars with horsepower provided by Clements Racing Engines of Spartanburg, SC.

Ogle competes in Nationally Televised events on the UDTRA circuit, which are broadcast on the SPEED Channel.
