1/8/03, Mechanicsburg, PA - With the first green flag of the new season at Williams Grove Speedway just over a month away, the time to consider acquiring season passes and reserved seating is now. Williams Grove will kickoff the 2003 season on Sunday, February 23 at 2 PM with a sprints only program and there is a variety of ways you can cash in on savings while planning for the busy season ahead.
The World of Outlaws will be at the Grove on three different occasions this year. The first visit occurs on May 15 and 16 for the Spring Fling followed by the three-day Summer Nationals on July 24, 25 and 26. The 41st Annual National Open weekend is slated for October 3 and 4.
Tickets for all 2003 WoO weekends go on sale on a first come, first served basis beginning January 13, 2003. Order tickets by calling the speedway office at 717 - 697 - 5000 between 10 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Tickets may be purchased by using VISA, MasterCard or Discover credit cards. Backstretch camper parking permits for World of Outlaws weekends are also available at $10 per space.
A great way to enjoy all of the racing action at Williams Grove Speedway would be with one of many available special ticket packages. Season reserved seats are available at a price of only $40 for the entire season. This reserved seat entitles the holder to the same seat for every racing event during the 2003 season including WoO events with the purchase of a general admission ticket. Reserved seats are available during the season at grandstand locations including the front stretch, back stretch and turns three and four entrances.
Reserved seat ticket holders from last season have until January 10, 2003 to renew their seats. All season-reserved seats not renewed will go on sale to the public on Monday, January 20. The same renewal date of January 10 applies to reserved parking located inside the perimeter fence near the first turn side of the front stretch. All available and non-renewed reserved parking spaces will go on sale January 20.
Bulk ticket purchase plans give the holder a $10 face value ticket at the discounted price of $9.50 when purchasing 5 to 19 tickets. These same tickets are offered at a price of $9 when 20 or more tickets are purchased. A season admission pass is available at a price of $400 and entitles the holder to general admission entry to every racing event in 2003. A season pit pass would allow admission to the pit area for every racing event at a price of $500.
A membership for the pit area can be obtained at a price of $40 and will save the holder a minimum of $3 per week. The regular event member pit fee is $15 and the non-member fee is $18. If you purchase a membership by January 31, 2003 you will also receive a pair of $10 tickets towards the purchase of a general admission ticket.
If you would like to watch all of the racing action in luxury and style then inquire about the Williams Grove VIP skyboxes. These suites can be rented by the season or by the event.
