Joining Lasoski on the podium at the Nationals were Weld-equipped drivers Chad Kemanah who finished second with his UUI entry, and Jeff Shepard who drove the Barry Jackson-owned Kriner-powered JEI entry from 14th starting spot to finish third.

Other Knoxville Nationals stars who shined with Weld Wheels-equipped entries include Wednesday qualifying night A-main winner Tim Kaeding in the Dennis Roth Beefpackers car, Thursday qualifying night A-main winner Lasoski, and non-qualifiers night A-main winner Travis Cram.

360 Nationals winner Billy Alley and runner-up Wayne Johnson were both utilizing Weld Racing Wheels, as were Casey's General Stores Night 360 winner David Hesmar and 410 winner Tim Kaeding.

The Brodix Tournament of Champions winner, Loren Langerud led a top five Weld Wheels sweep of the event with Roger Crockett, Garry Lee Maier (from 14th starting spot), Zach Chappell (from 9th starting spot) and Travis Rilat rounding out the top five.

Oskaloosa's Southern Iowa Speedway saw Jeff Shepard earn $5,000 with his Weld-equipped JEI-chassied entry into victory lane at the Front Row Challenge, while Dickie Gaines completed the sweep of Oskaloosa by Weld Wheels-equipped drivers by taking the $30,000 win in the NWWC Ultimate Challenge event.
