MAXIM Race Chassis started the 2004 World of Outlaws season with 22 consecutive wins and continues dominating victory lanes across the country.
No less than 11 different drivers have won World of Outlaws A Mains in 2004 with MAXIM Race Chassis, including Steve Kinser (10), Jason Meyers (3), Paul McMahan (1), Craig Dollansky (3), Joey Saldana (1), Brian Paulus (1), Tyler Walker (1), Shane Stewart (1), Mark Kinser (1), Danny Smith (1), and Greg Hodnett (1).
Steve Kinser continues to lead the WoO point standings after winning events at Lernerville and Grandview on the grueling Eastern swing. Greg Hodnett scored a $10,000 win Saturday aboard the Apple Motorsports MAXIM at Hagerstown.
Perhaps one of the hottest drivers in the country at the moment is Travis Rilat, who picked up two wins with the Sprint Bandit Series this past weekend. Rilat steers the Chilcutt MAXIM, and pulled off a pair of wins at US 36 Raceway and at Butler County, Nebraska to run his 2004 win total to 9 victories.
"We're on a roll right now," said Rilat from Butler County victory lane. "That makes nine wins overall this year, we've just got to keep it going. We switched to a MAXIM Chassis this year and it took us a couple of races to adjust to it, but since then the car has been bad fast."
Another driver with a pair of wins last weekend is Dale Blaney. Blaney won All Star events aboard the Andrews MAXIM at Wayne County's Pete Jacobs Memorial and backed that win up with a victory at Attica Raceway Park. Jac Haudenschild scored his second All Star win of 2004 at KC Raceway Saturday in the Miller MAXIM.
Randi Miller was also a multiple winner with MAXIM, sweeping two nights of ASCS Rocky Mountain Region action at Thunder Mountain Speedway.
Brooke Tatnell drove the Forbrook MAXIM to the winner's circle at Jackson Speedway's IRA/NMRA event.
Mike Wagner towed his MAXIM on an open trailer to take the win at Port Royal, Speedway Saturday. Following Wagner at the checkered was ZEMCO MAXIM pilot Mark Smith for the 1-2 sweep.
Michael Burthay was a wingless winner at Gas City with his MAXIM.
Cameron Dodson claimed his first career Butler Battlegrounds winged sprint feature win in just his second start at the track on Saturday during the Albert and Elma Donaldson Memorial. 16 year old Dodson accomplished his feat in a MAXIM.
Marshall Skinner was a USCS feature winner with MAXIM at Garnertown Speedway. Lake Ozark Speedway saw Eric Schrock victorious with his MAXIM, while Randy Martin was a Winged Outlaw Warrior Moberly winner in the Gary Scott Memorial driving the Diamond Pet Foods MAXIM.
John Gray tamed Chico's Silver Dollar Speedway, winning with the Jesse Heating and Air Conditioning MAXIM.
Brian Seidel used a MAXIM to win the URC-sanctioned Don Kerr Memorial at Fonda Speedway, while Jeff Van Dusen won with MAXIM at the ESS-sanctioned Utica Rome event.
Nat Snyder was a recent Selinsgrove Speedway 358 winner with his MAXIM.
