KNOXVILLE, IOWA (AUGUST 14, 2003) - It appears that Shane Stewart has set his sights on the 2003 Auto Trader Southern Iowa SprintWeek point title, which would earn him $2,500 in cash and the "Mr. Sprint Car" moniker. Stewart, an American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) regular while driving for Scott Chilcutt's mIn Motorsports team of Oklahoma City, Okla., finished fourth last night at Knoxville to bring his week-long point tally to 194 points. Night six of the eight-night marathon will take place at the Knoxville Raceway tonight with the World of Outlaws-sanctioned Ford Dealers of Iowa Knoxville Nationals, presented by Visit Australia. Stewart's next opportunity to gain SprintWeek points will be in the Saturday night finale, as he will not compete tonight, nor has he qualified for Friday's Kele World Challenge. Stewart's sprint car is wrenched by Rob Hart and David Sharman. Travis Rilat and defending "Mr. Sprint Car" titlist Ricky Logan will both compete in tonight's qualifying program and in Friday's Kele World Challenge.
