ASCS Sprints on Dirt Announces Heat Race Sponsors

Marie Buffenbarger, TULSA, Okla. (April 25, 2006) -- The Engine Pro ASCS Sprints On Dirt presented by Victor Reinz is excited to announce the heat race and feature sponsors for the 2006 season.

Ohsweken Speedway will sponsor the first heat of each ASCS Sprints on Dirt event in 2006, while Engler Machine and Tool will sponsor heat two. Heat three of each event will be sponsored by Lane Automotive, with COMP Cams sponsoring heat four. Heat five is presented by Hoosier Tire and Heat six will be the B&B Oval Track Parts Heat Race.

Engine Pro and Victor Reinz will be presenting the 2006 "B" Main events and the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals, held at Glenn Styres' Ohsweken Speedway, will present a $100 bonus every week to the "A" Main event winner.

"Several of these sponsors have been with us before, but whether they are with us for their first year or their third, we are extremely excited to have them on board," stated Jason Fausey.

The Engine Pro ASCS Sprints On Dirt presented by Victor Reinz opens its 2006 season at Crystal Motor Speedway on May 6th. Crystal Motor Speedway is located in Crystal, MI, 5.5 miles north of SR 57 on Crystal Road, then east on Sidney. For more information, contact the track at 989-235-5200.

The 2006 Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by Victor Reinz slate consists of approximately 30 nights of racing at fourteen different tracks throughout Michigan, Ohio and Canada.

In its 15th year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing in the United States, the American Sprint Car Series will present approximately 180 nights of racing in 2006 including the National Tour and its Regional Tours (Gulf South, Mid-South, Midwest, Northern Plains, Patriot Sprint Group, Rocky Mountain, Sooner, Southern and Sprints on Dirt).
