ASCS Southern Tour Reschedules New 311 Date

TULSA, Okla. (May 2, 2006) -- The Heintz Performance American Sprint Car Series Southern Tour has rescheduled the event that recently washed out at New 311 Speedway in Madison, NC.

The event rained out on April 22 at New 311 Speedway has been rescheduled for Saturday night, May 13. The event replaces the date originally held by Antioch Speedway.

The addition of New 311 Speedway to May 13 makes for a full weekend of racing action for the Heintz Performance ASCS Southern Tour after a series debut at Mileback Speedway in Gray Court, SC, on Friday night, May 12.

After establishing a solid foundation in 2005, the Heintz Performance ASCS Southern Tour currently consists of 16 nights of racing at thirteen different tracks throughout the southeastern portion of the United States.

In its 15th year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing in the United States, the American Sprint Car Series will present approximately 180 nights of racing in 2006 including the National Tour and its Regional Tours (Gulf South, Mid-South, Midwest, Northern Plains, Patriot Sprint Group, Rocky Mountain, Sooner, Southern and Sprints on Dirt).
