The 3/10's mile oval was dry slick in the corners and tacky on the straights last night as the Puget Sound area had a heat wave this last week. We had 3 first time this season winners out of four classes, here are the results.

The 360 Sprint class lined up as follows #5 Fletcher, #37 Leo Viogt driving for an injured Dennis Army, #67 Borden, #21 J. Smith, #73 Huson, #12 Ridge, #27 Cram, #97 Hartjoy, and #54 Gable. At the Finish it was #5, #37, #73, and #12. The #54 car din't take the green flag.

In the second heat the line-up was #56 Bundy, #60 Rose, #15 Solwold, #09 Cross, #77 Heikes, #69 Perkins, #24 Gibbs and #96 Hunziker. At the checkered is was #57, #60, #77, #24, #15, #09, #69, and #96.

In the Skoal Sportsman Sprints 1st heat #14 Houston was on the pole followed by #7 Stratton, #31 Florence, #5 Johnson #35 Conner, #24 Hillier, and #94 Dills. #14 car spins which causes #5 car to flip on first lap. At the finish it was #7, #24, #94, and #14 as the top 4.

2nd Heat was #27 Barnes, #65 Logston, #66 Martinez, #63 ??, #6 Loy, and #2 Field. Martinez jumps out to take lead with loy right behind him. #65 hits the turn 4 wall for a yellow flag on lap 6. At finish is was #66, #6, #27, #2, #63.

We had Yellow flags on lap 1 for #17 and lap 3 for the same car getting him a D.Q. under the two spin rule. Ridge's front wing was almost falling off during the whole race which caused him the do wheelies down the front strech on every lap. The fans loved it but I don't think Randy thought is was very fun. At the finish is was #56 Youngquist with his first heat win of the year, followed by #15, #23, #6, #9, and #25.

The SSS had a semi main. The finish it was #35 Conner and #31 Florence who transfer to back of main.

In the 360 trophy dash #5 Fletcher takes the hardware. #66 Martinez gets the trophy in the SSS and in the 410 class #56 Youngquist gets his first trophy of the year.

In the 360 main we had too many yellow flags to count. #96 spins on lap 10 and again on the restart and is D.Q.'d. On another restart of lap 10 the #12 and #24 cars hit each other for another yellow. On another restart of the 10th lap #57 car while running 3rd, hit the start cone in the back strech and is put to the back of the pack. On yet another restart #77 and #57 get sideways in turn 1 and that causes #60 to come to a stop to bring out another yellow. (we are still stuck at 10 laps) #24 car goes to pits while running 3rd and rejoins the feild, at the back along with #77, #57 and #21. On restart #15 brings out yellow again. #97J bring out next yellow on lap 14 and the #24 car goes back to the pits. On the white flag lap #77 and #15 get together in turn 2 and #21 car goes to the pits after hitting the turn 4 wall. He was running 4th. At the finish, it was Jeff Fletcher #5 Leading all 20 laps for his first win of 1995. #73 Huson was 2nd, followed by #67 Borden, #09 Cross, #57 Bundy, #37 Viogt, #12 Ridge, #21 J. Smith.

Then on lap 2 #3 stalls in turn 3 and the #66 spins and gathers in #32 in turn 4. Yellow comes out again in lap 3 for #14. #04 loving takes lead on lap 4. #92 brings out yellow and #32 stops making him go to the back of the pack. #3 spins on lap 9 but keeps going however the #30 was not so lucky and stops. He rejioned the field at the back. #24 car goes from 7th place to 4th on lap 11. #92 spins for his 2nd yellow and is D.Q.'d on lap 13. #66 & 6 get together on lap 16 in turn 2, #66 keeps going by doing a 360 but #6 goes to the pits. #66 car gets his starting position back by keeping the car going and he take 3rd on lap 17. The last yellow was for #32 Curtis on the last lap. At the checkered it was #04, #66, #24, #7, #2 and #3 your top six.

The 410 sprints put on the race of the night. Only two yellow flags! the first one was on lap 10 for #15 Waggoner spins while running in second behind #23 Ridge. #73 Huson and #42 Munn battle for 3rd for 5 laps and just before #15 car's spin #73 gets the spot. Then on lap 23 #73 Huson gets second but not before the lap is finished. On the same lap #9 Von Stroberg spins to bring out the yellow and the order goes back to lap 22 Putting Munn in 1st and #23 Ridge in second and #73 Huson into 3rd for the restart. However #42 Mumm has a flat right rear and gets black flaged to the pitts. That puts #23 Ridge in front. #42 rejoins the feild after repairs but has to go to the back of the pack. On the restart #23 Ridge manages to hold off a hard charging #73 Huson to get his first win in 1995. The rest of the finish was #73, #11, #15, #04, #56, #6 #4J, #42 and #25.
