AOAS 360 Sprints join Central PA 358 Sprints for Selinsgrove Challenge event June 14

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The American Outlaw Action Series (AOAS) 360 sprint cars will join the Pennsylvania 358 sprint cars for a 30-lap Challenge Championship event at Selinsgrove Speedway on Sat., June 14 at 7 p.m.

The event will pay $2,003 to win and $250 to start the A-main. The lucrative event will offer more than $10,000 in total prize money for the 360 and 358 cubic inch sprint car teams. The rain date is Sun., June 15 at 7 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m.

The AOAS 360 sprint car organization is based in North Carolina. The Challenge series begins Fri., June 13 at Big Diamond Raceway in Minersville and culminates on Sat. at Selinsgrove. The two-day event is expected to draw a large number of sprint car teams from neighboring states in addition to the local contingent of teams.

Doorways Unlimited, Inc. of Shiremanstown and Philips Products, Inc. of Selinsgrove will co-sponsor the Selinsgrove event. Heat races and C- and B-mains will be the format for qualifying for the sprint car main event.

Contingency awards include a $50 bonus to win a heat race and a $100 Hard Charger bonus to the driver who advances the most positions in the main event.
