(LAKE PERRIS, CA - OCTOBER 17, 2002) With two weeks still to go before the Temecula Valley Pipe and Supply $100,000.00 - 100-Lap Budweiser Oval Nationals at Perris Auto Speedway, 55 cars have entered the prestigious three day event.

This weeks entries included recently crowned USAC National Sprint Car Champion Tracy Hines (Hines will be driving the famous Tamale Wagon at the Oval Nationals) of Greenfield, Indiana, former Oval Nationals Champions "Super Rickie" Gaunt (1999) & Tony Jones (2000), top SCRA star Damion Gardner, former CRA Rookie of the Year Charles Davis Jr., many times Southern California Stock Car Champ Rick Becker, multi-time Baja Off-Road winner Bobby Ferro, Arizona star "Bullet Bob Ream, 2001 Western World Champion Jeremy Sherman, 1999 Bandit Sprint Car Champion Jarrett Chaney, multi-time PAS 360 winner Richard Harvey Jr., Golden State Series star Peter Murphy, Washington's Jason Solwold, Northern California Wing racer Mike Faria and 3-Time Tony Hulman Classic winner (Terre Haute, Indiana) Cary Faas.
