Sherman County next up for ASCS Rocky Mountain Region

TULSA, Okla. (May 12, 2003) - The American Sprint Car Series Rocky Mountain Region is set to invade Sherman County Speedway in Goodland, KS, this Saturday night, May 17.

Randi Miller of Rapid City, SD, kicked off the ASCS Rocky Mountain Region season this past weekend by winning the series' season opening event at Black Hills Speedway. C.J. Johnson of Quinter, KS, who finished second in last weekend's season opener, is expected to be on hand to defend his home state turf against the rest of the Rocky Mountain Region invaders.

Other top ASCS Rocky Mountain Region regulars expected for this Saturday night's racing including defending series champion Mike Dreiling of Highlands Ranch, CO, Eric Miller, Jace Pennetta and Nick Haygood among others.

Saturday's event marks the second of 26 nights of racing for the ASCS Rocky Mountain Region in 2003 throughout South Dakota, Kansas, Wyoming, New Mexico, Colorado and Montana.
