TULSA, Okla. (July 2, 2007) -- The American Sprint Car Series Rocky Mountain Region will embark upon new territory this Saturday night by taking to the semi-banked, 0x00bc-mile I-76 Speedway dirt oval in Fort Morgan, CO, for the first time in series history.

With a handful of events in the books, C.J. Johnson of Quinter, KS, leads the Rocky Mountain forces into Saturday's event as he tries to chase down his first ASCS Rocky Mountain Region crown.

Johnson currently holds a 26-point lead over defending series champion Patrick Bourke of Edwards, CO, with 2004 series champion Keith Rauch of Thornton, CO, just 22 more points back in third.

Eighteen-year-old Chad Corken of Highlands Ranch, CO, enters Saturday's event ranked fourth, with 2001 champion Nick Haygood rounding out the current top five.
