ASCS PATRIOTS RETURN TO RANSOMVILLE FRIDAY

TULSA, Okla. (July 30, 2007)- With many of the best teams in the country headed to Knoxville, the best of the ASCS Patriots will return to the Ransomville Speedway to kick off a busy month of August.

Jared Zimbardi's second career and most recent win came at Ransomville at the end of June, when the Little Valley, NY driver held off the challenges of Chuck Hebing in a thrilling feature event.

Zimbardi has closed within 16 points of "Cobra" in the overall championship hunt off a third place finish at Cayuga County, but the primary focus for "The Juice" is sweeping the events in Niagara County this season.

Back in June the A-Main was 20 laps in distance, this time around the 12th feature of the season for the ASCS Patriots will be 25 laps on the big 0x00bd-mile.

The winner of Friday's event will not only receive $1,400, they will also receive a guaranteed spot in the Pro Syn Oil Scramble Dash at Genesee Speedway on August 25. This will be the first of two Genesee Scramble Qualifiers for the ASCS Patriots for the event later this month.

Ray Preston was third at the event back in June and has scored three other top-fives in his career at the Western New York facility. Look for "Rapid Ray" to vie for his first career ASCS Patriot Win on Friday.

Scott Kreutter, Don Adamczyk and Blake Breen all ran well at Cayuga County on Sunday and all have fared well in the past at Ransomville. Each will be going for their first win of the year as well.

As is tradition with the ASCS Patriots, a host of Canadians will be crossing over the border to battle at Ransomville. Look for the likes of Rob Pietz, Stan Zanchin, Tim Zack and many more to be in appearance.

This will be a full point event for the ASCS Patriot, with all competitors running receiving first place points, along with any that attend Knoxville.
