ASCS Patriots Schedule Awards Banquet for January 24
TULSA, Okla. (December 20, 2008)- Even though it will take place in 2009, a great 2008 season will be remembered at the ASCS Patriots Awards Banquet while looking ahead to what could be the best season ever.
On January 24, 2009, The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in Rochester, NY will once again be the host to this mid-winter tradition, serving as a central location for the majority of the 19 teams that will be honored on the night.
The top-16 drivers in overall points, along with the four Insinger Race Fuels Rookie of the Year Candidates, the top-10 in the A-Verdi Storage Containers King of Central New York Series and the hard chargers of the season will be among those that pick up the hardware and a slice of the most cash to ever be paid out in series history.
The awards banquet will begin in style at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail hour that includes the traditional "Champions Round of Drinks" presented by 21-year-old Bryan Howland, 2008 ASCS Patriot Champion. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. with the awards presentation to follow.
Another highlight of the night will take place early on, as the 2009 Information Meeting will be held at 3:30 in the Jefferson Room to discuss rules and procedures for the upcoming season. The full season schedule will also be released at this meeting along with the point fund that is laid out for what is sure to be a very lucrative year.
Tickets for the banquet are $35.00 per person and must be purchased by January 16. Checks may be made out to ASCS Patriots and sent to 64 Straub Road, Rochester, NY 14626.
