MIKE VAN DUSEN LEADS ASCS PATRIOT HARD CHARGER STANDINGS
TULSA, Okla. (May 17, 2006) -- Otego, New York's Mike Van Dusen is out to the early lead in the Gater Racing News Hard Charger standings for the Bobcat of Buffalo ASCS Patriot Sprint Group.
Van Dusen gained the most positions in the series season-opening event at Utica-Rome Speedway on May 30 to move atop the early Hard Charger lead by racing from 18th to snare a fifth place finish.
After getting rained out at McKean County Raceway last Saturday night, the Bobcat of Buffalo ASCS Patriot Sprint Group fires back into action at Canandaigua Speedway this Saturday night before moving on to Cayuga County Fair Speedway on Sunday night.

The 2006 Bobcat of Buffalo ASCS Patriot Sprint Group schedule consists of 22 nights of racing at fourteen different tracks throughout New York, Pennsylvania and Canada.
In its 15th year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing in the United States, the American Sprint Car Series will present approximately 180 nights of racing at nearly 100 tracks throughout 27 different states and Canada in 2006 including the National Tour and its Regional Tours (Gulf South, Mid-South, Midwest, Northern Plains, Patriot Sprint Group, Rocky Mountain, Sooner, Southern and Sprints on Dirt).
