"The Dude" brought the 83 Roth Motorsports car across the finish line first to close the 30 lap A main feature here at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Oktaha, OK.

Lasoski nailed down his first National Sprint Tour win tonight. In response to Shane Stewart getting lane choice as a result of his dash win, Lasoski commented, "I thought we were in trouble when Shane chose the bottom but I was able to run wide open at the top."

The inside pole sitter, Shane Stewart (Rudeen), was not able to take control of the race as Lasoski wired the outside line to take the lead out of turn 2. He was followed closely by Tim Kaeding (Slick 50), Jason Sides (Weatherington), and Steve Kinser (Quaker). The modified support class left the track black with rubber from the inside to the berm making any passing difficult. Kaeding managed to improve a position by taking advantage of an error by the Stewart in turn 3 of the twelfth lap. That was the last time for a change in the top five running order till lap 23 when the Stewart flipped in turns 3 and 4. Shane said in his post race interview, "Not sure what happened. Something broke in the steering in turns 1 and 2. I saved it and then going down the back straight away I knew I had a problem. Then going into 3 it really broke. It's just one of those deals you know, you're just hanging on. It's a good thing we're coming back. I've got to redeem myself here because we've had two really good starts and two bad finishes. We're close." At the same time Brian Paulus (Arnold Transportation) reported to the work area with a flat. With the track conditions becoming difficult on the restart, Paul McMahan (Bass Pro) spun out for the second "unaided" and was black flagged. The finishing order for the checkers behind Lasoski was Kaeding, Kinser, Sides and Jason Solwold (City Wide).

The drivers watched with great concentration and anticipation as the pill draw for dash start positions was done by volunteer kids from the stands drawing for the drivers. The dashes were won by Shane Stewart and Danny Lasoski respectively with Shane having "fast dash" for lane choice in the feature. His inside choice and strong feature run was overshadowed by the equipment failure late in the main event. The first dash ended in the order of Sides, McMahan, Solwold and Lucas Wolfe (Selma/Shell) following Lasoski across the finish. Shane Stewart led Kaeding, Kinser, Shaffer (Casey's) and Jason Meyers (Elite) in the second dash.

Paul McMahon turned in a fast qualifier of 14.998 for a new track record and the first sub-15 second time in the track's history. Five NST cars broke the previous track record 15.186 set in 2005 by Kraig Kinser.

Nineteen 410 sprinters showed up for the event with a support class of 27 Modifieds.
