O'Reilly ASCS Adds Dodge City Double

TULSA, Okla. (March 9, 2005) -- The O'Reilly American Sprint Car Series National Tour presented by Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores has added a two-day event at Dodge City Raceway Park to the 2005 slate.

The series will make its first ever visit to the 3/8-mile semi-banked clay oval on Friday and Saturday, June 17-18.

A large field of cars is expected for the ASCS showdown at Dodge City Raceway Park, as the event is also a points race for both the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region and the ASCS Rocky Mountain Region.

Dodge City Raceway Park will be one of five new stops for the O'Reilly ASCS National Tour in 2005. Other new venues include Cowtown Speedway in Kennedale, TX, Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, NE, U.S. 36 Raceway in Cameron, MO, and Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, MO.

The O'Reilly ASCS National Tour presented by Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores consists of more than 40 nights of racing in 2005 at more than 20 different tracks throughout Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.

In total, including the National Tour along with the Gulf South, Sooner, Rocky Mountain, Midwest and Southern Regions, the American Sprint Car Series will sanction approximately 120 nights of racing at approximately 50 different race tracks throughout at least 15 different states in 2005.
