Friday, May 26th will see the Midwest Sprintcar Series return to its home track, the Kopellah Speedway, for the second of seven shows in the upcoming season. The first race saw Kent Winters take the winner's check over veterans Roger Rager and Joe Kouba. Winters now leads the field of sprinters back to Kopellah for the next points race. A large crowd was on hand and spilled over from the grandstands onto neighboring hills. Be sure to arrive early in order to be assured a seat in the grandstands or bring a vehicle and tailgate in the parking lot while you watch the races. Kopellah offers many unique seating possibilities and certainly provides exciting racing with the Midwest Sprintcar Series as well as a full field of Wissota Super Stocks, Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Mini-stocks. Gates open at 5 o'clock with racing beginning at 7:30. Don't miss the return of sprint car racing to the Kopellah Speedway. The track is located north of St. Croix Falls. Take US Hwy. 35 North from St. Croix Falls and go west on 160th St.
