Abbottstown, PA (June 5, 1999) - Fred Rahmer won his seventh race of the season at Lincoln Speedway tonight. Rahmer started ninth and battled his way to the front in a race which only saw two caution periods. "On Saturday night, this is the toughest place to race in central Pennsylvania," said Rahmer from victory lane.

Rahmer battled with 12th place starter Jeff Shepard for most of the race. "It seemed like everywhere I went was wrong," said Rahmer. "I was real good on the bottom but I just couldn't catch a break. Shepard kept rolling the top and making me keep going back up there. I knew I couldn't let him get to the front." Shepard finsihed third behing Dan Jones.

While Rahmer and Shepard fought their way to the front, Jeff Rohrbough and Dan Jones battled for the lead for much of the race. Rohrbough took the lead from his outside front row starting position and held on for the first twenty laps. Dan Jones managed to slip by to lead three laps before he was run down by Rahmer. Rahmer led the last two laps.
