Dewease keeps rolling while Lynch, Hestor, Michael, Pate and Linder also win in J&J's.

McKENZIE, TN - J&J Auto Racing teams continue to have great success on the tracks in the Northeast as well as Texas and Ohio. Lance Dewease led the brigade with his third win at Williams Grove Speedway in the last four weeks in the Hamilton Motorsports #77 J&J while Ed Lynch, Jr. drove his #2L to victory lane on the same night at Lernerville Speedway in Western PA. The following night Todd Hestor claimed his first win of the season at Port Royal Speedway driving the Middleswarth #7m J&J, and Curt Michael claimed the URC feature at New Egypt Speedway in New Jersey aboard the Palladino #99 J&J. John Pate scored his second win of the season at Houston Raceway Park in his #36 J&J while Mike Linder scored the 360 feature victory at Limaland Speedway in Ohio driving the Brewer/James Motorsports #3 J&J.

Williams Grove - Dewease started the 25-lap feature event 11th and quickly made his move to the front, getting to third by lap three. On lap nine, Dewease made his pass for the lead and drove off for his 52nd career win at the Mechanicsburg, PA half-mile. The Manheim Auto Auctions, Wirtgen America, Hank's Performance Products, Bricker's French Fries No. 77 J & J team seems to be peaking at the right time with the Pennzoil World of Outlaws coming to town this week.

"We had a couple of good restarts and that made the difference tonight," stated Dewease, who will compete at Lincoln Speedway tonight. "With our competition level right now, you have to get to the front first. We just hope we can continue this next week."

Keith Kauffman finished sixth in the Middleswarth #7 J&J and Fred Rahmer steered the Joe Harz Racing's #88 J&J to a seventh place finish.

Lernerville - Ed Lynch, Jr. scored his third victory of the season at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA. Lynch, who came from eighth in his #2L J&J, took the lead on the back straight of lap 16. The former 1990 Track Champion cruised to his third Sprint win, 52nd overall, and tops the 2002-point list. He is closing in on All-Time Sprint Winner Johnny Beaber's record of 55 feature victories. Lynch has not finished lower than third this season at Lernerville.

Port Royal - Todd Hestor took advantage of his teammate's misfortune to claim the feature win at Port Royal Speedway. Hestor took the lead on lap four, but was passed by Keith Kauffman, who was aboard the Middleswarth #7 J&J, on the tenth circuit. Kauffman's run at the front ended abruptly as he attempted to lap slower cars when they made contact in front of him. Hestor took command of the field following the restart in the Middleswarth Potato Chips #7m J&J and led the final 15 laps to claim the victory.

New Egypt (URC) - Curt Michael took the lead on lap five of the twenty-five lap URC Advance Auto Parts sprint car feature on Saturday night at the New Egypt Speedway and went on to score his first win of the season. Michael, the 1998 URC Champion, drove the Cathy and Pat Palladino #99 J&J flawlessly to win the race hands down over runner-up Trevor Lewis.

Houston Raceway Park - John Pate, aboard his #36 2002 J&J powered by a Gaerte engine, passed points leader Larry Howrey (#69 J&J) on Lap 14 of the 20 lap feature event on Saturday night to take his second win of the 2002 season at Houston Raceway Park. With Pate, an 18-year-old soon to be high school graduate in Texas, finishing first followed by Howery and AJ Weaver (#55 J&J), J&J a swept the podium.

Limaland Speedway - Mike Linder took the 360 sprint car feature at Limaland Motorsports Park on Friday night driving the Brewer/James Motorsports #3 J&J.
