Kauffman scores win number four in Middlewarth J&J

McKENZIE, TN - After winning at Lincoln Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway the week before, Keith Kauffman captured the sprint car feature victory on Saturday afternoon at Port Royal Speedway. Kauffman piloted the Middleswarth Potato Chips #7 J&J to victory lane and claimed his 108th win of his career at the Port.

"We've been going good this year because everyone works so hard," stated Kauffman. "I didn't think I had much of a chance today starting so far back, but it just shows how great this team is. It was a lot of fun out there today."

After quickly working his way inside the top five, Kauffman made his move on race leader, Fred Rahmer (Joe Harz Racing #88h J&J), by diving low into turn one and he exited turn two the new leader on the 10th lap.

"You had to make your moves on the starts today or else you probably wouldn't get them," he said after collecting $2,500 for the win. "You just make the slidejob and hope you complete it."

Rahmer, who slowed because of a tire problem, finished third, and Kauffman's Middleswarth teammate, Todd Hestor, finished seventh in the Middleswarth Potato Chips #7m J&J.
