KNOXVILLE, IOWA (January 9, 2007) - The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame is pleased to announce the names of its twelve inductees for 2007. The individuals will be inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame on Saturday afternoon, June 2nd, during the eighteenth annual ceremonies on the Marion County Fairgrounds in Knoxville, Iowa. The inductees are:

Drivers: Shane Carson, Jerry "Scratch" Daniels, Rajo Jack, Kenny Jacobs, Bayliss Levrett, Hal Minyard.

Owners-Mechanics-Builders-Manufacturers-Car Sponsors: Earl Gaerte, Joe Jagersberger, Glen Niebel.

Promoters-Officials-Media Members-Event/Series Sponsors: Ken Coles, Emmett Hahn, Bill White.

According to National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Foundation executive director Thomas J. Schmeh, "The 72-member National Induction Committee has done another outstanding job of nominating and electing some of the greatest achievers in our sport. The induction banquet will be a great time to reflect back on the accomplishments of those veterans that have gone before us like drivers Rajo Jack and Bayliss Levrett, builder/manufacturer Joe Jagersberger and promoter Bill White. And then we'll have the opportunity to honor modern era achievers such as drivers Shane Carson, Jerry "Scratch" Daniels, Kenny Jacobs and Hal Minyard, photographer Ken Coles, driver/promoter/sanctioning official Emmett Hahn, engine builder Earl Gaerte and the late owner/mechanic/builder Glen Niebel. The induction banquet on Saturday, June 2, will be a very special event for many people!"
