Rain Interrupts ASCS Gulf South Heart O' Texas Go

WACO, Tex. (July 15, 2005) -- With heat races already in the books for the Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores American Sprint Car Series Gulf South Region at Heart O' Texas Speedway Friday night, heavy showers hit the speedway and forced the postponement of the balance of the program.

Lane Whittington, Kevin Ramey and Troy Padgett each earned heat race victories for the 27-car field before heavy rains forced the postponement.

The ASCS Gulf South event scheduled for Friday night, September 16, at Heart O' Texas Speedway will now include double feature events, as the July 15 features will be made up at that time.

Features: Rained out and postponed to September 16.
