SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- As the Empire Super Sprints (ESS) get ready to celebrate their 20th anniversary tour in 2003, they would like to welcome Tim Engler and his Engler Machine and Tool to the sponsorship fold for the very first time. The Princeton, IN based company that specializes in fuel injection systems as well as other sprint car performance parts will sponsor all the heat events with ESS for the upcoming season.

In each ESS full point event, the winner of the eight lap qualifying event not only will receive a spot in the nightly dash as well as a spot in the 25 lap A-Main, he or she will also be rewarded with $25 cash from Engler Machine and Tool.

Tim Engler is no stranger to motorsports as he has been a national champion in tractor pulls as well as being a successful sprint car driver with the All-Stars and World of Outlaws. Engler's fuel injection systems has a long history with ESS and have carried Mike Woodring to several championships over the years. Along with Woodring, top ESS stars such as Bill Coffey, Rob Dietrick and Woodring's teammate Erin Crocker carried Engler built systems last season with successful results.

For more information, you can contact Tim Engler at (812) 386-6254 or log on to www.empiresupersprints.com .

With the addition of Engler Machine and Tool as well as many other new and returning sponsors, teams in ESS will be vying for the most money in the 20 year history of the 360 sanctioning organization. The high flying excitement will get underway Saturday night, April 12th at the Black Rock Speedway located near Watkins Glen, N.Y. More than 30 of the alcohol breathing winged sprinters will fill the pits at the fast 4/10ths mile oval. The ESS Tour 2003 is just two months away; we hope you can take time out to celebrate the 20th anniversary of showcasing some of the best in "America's Race Cars"!!
