SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- For the first time on the 20th Anniversary Tour, the Empire Super Sprints (ESS) and "America's Race Cars" head to the French speaking province of Quebec. On Fri. and Sat. June 20 & 21, the stars and cars will visit the Autodromes in Granby and Drummondville.

One of the most looked forward too weekends of the year comes rounds three and four on the VSM Canadian Invasion Championship Series. So far in 2003 Bob Podolak and Bill Bailey have taken home the checkered flag in events north of the border.

The first stop is the fast half-mile in Granby, Que., just southeast of Montreal. Eight-time ESS champion Mike Woodring has called this facility his favorite track on the ESS trail. Woodring will be on hand looking for his eighth A-Main victory. Joining the Eden, N.Y. star will be past winners Lance Yonge and Mike Stelter along with current ESS point leader Mike Lutz and his teammate Jeff VanDusen.

After a night in Granby, it's 45 miles north to Autodrome Drummond, Quebec's longest running dirt track. Last season saw Dan Kaszubinski and Bill Coffey taking feature event wins, these two top drivers will fill the pits along with current VSM point leader Don Sharp Jr. and point runner-up Bubby Kerrick. Canadian fans will have plenty to cheer about with Quebec's own Alain Bergeron and Daniel Lampron along with Ontario's Rick Wilson.

It's the first of two Quebec weekends, the winged warriors of ESS and the 20th Anniversary tour is coming to Granby and Drummond and as usual--.it will be excitement guaranteed!!!
