Bad Luck at Utica-Rome Speedway

After a very good heat race and a long rain delay, Alain Bergeron did not end up very lucky at Utica-Rome Speedway last night.

Everything was looking great for the Saint-Pie QC driver that was starting in eight place for the ESS A-Main, but as early as the first lap, two cars got together and one of them went into the wall and came back to finish his ride on Alain Bergeron's. Bergeron was not able to avoid it and a pill out happened. The night for many competitors was done.

The evening had well begun for Bergeron that was qualified for the A-Main finishing third in his heat while he started in 7th place. Than the rain delay came for several hours. What came after is history.

"This is an event that we had no control on it, we have to live with. We will not give up and we will work harder as there is still lot of races remaining until the end of the season. Last year, we finished 22nd and 19th at the first two races of the 2006 season and we hit the wall at Little Valley to finish in 19th place at the fourth race. The rest of the season showed us that we should never give up.", mentioned Alain Bergeron.
