GIBSONTON, FL - Kenny Adams won his 15th feature of the year at East Bay Raceway Friday as he took the $1,500 first place money on the opening night of the two-day Mr. Budweiser sprint car special.

Paulie Milum led the first 13 laps until the high flying Adams took the lead. The 24 car field ran near non-stop and the only yellow of the night flew on lap 23 for defending champion Gene Lasker who suffered engine failure. Following Adams was Milum, Roland Johnson, Joe Melnick, Sport Allen, Brady Alvis, Greg Leonard, Mike Hudson, Robbie Smith and Lee Scrape. Heat wins went to Taylor Andrews and Milum with Adams winning his heat and the Kensington Manor Dash for Cash for a clean sweep.

Bobby Alexander won the 25 lap late model special that was plagued by yellow flags after the half way mark. Donnie Tanner was the early leader before giving way to Keith Nosbisch who led at the half way mark but had to settle for second. Rounding out the top five were Jack Nosbisch, Jr., David Schmauss and Bill Howard. Alexander topped the Kensington Manor $500 dash for cash with heats to Alexander and Howard.

James Coyle won the spectator race and Daniel Lewis captured the demolition derby.
