Dustin Daggett had a busy week with three starts that resulted in two victories with Sprints on Dirt.

Wednesday night Daggett made his first start with the World of Outlaws at Hartford Speedway Park in Hartford, Michigan. Daggett qualified 20th fastest out of 35 cars on hand. After transferring to the feature event with a fifth place finish in his heat race, Daggett scored a 13th place finish.

"Everything goes so much faster with the 410," said Daggett. "I need some more laps to get used to the weight and speed difference. It was great racing against the World of Outlaws."

Friday at the Mt. Pleasant Speedway Sprints on Dirt made their first appearance at the ¼-mile oval in 13 years, since Dustin was only 8 years old. Dustin made an immediate impression in front of full house at Mt. Pleasant. Daggett won his heat race and moved up from his third starting position to take the lead from Dennis Craft on lap four. Daggett held off Tim Norman through multiple restarts to take the victory.

Saturday was much more challenging at Crystal Motor Speedway in Crystal, Michigan. Daggett started in fifth position and took the lead from Bill Johnson on lap seven. Daggett had to hold off another late race charge from Norman to win the Mid-Season Championship event.

After his latest two victories Daggett holds a 233 point lead over second place driver Nick Mulhiem going into this weekend's Sprints on Dirt action in northern lower Michigan Friday at the Cherry Speedway and Saturday night at the Merritt Speedway.
