Brown looks to tame the Devil's Bowl!
(Grain Valley, MO. 3/15/05) Brian Brown and Tim Doogs have spent all winter preparing for exactly what this weekend holds. The team has brand new race cars with Maxim Chassis on board and Kistler engines supplying the power. The team plans on running for the Knoxville 410 series championship as well as other events that are in the same geographic area and these will include World of Outlaw events, All Stars, ASCS and others.
"I really like running for the Doogs." said Brown. "We have a good chemistry amongst all of us and we have great equipment. With Terry (McCarl) out running with the Outlaws this year the championship at Knoxville is wide open. We have some great companies on board with us such as Host Iowa.Net, Ditzfield Transfer, American Compressed Steel, The Michael Ross Memorial Foundation, Weld Wheels, Hoosier, Maxim Chassis, Rod End Supply, Fast Wings and Impact Racing."
"We are still actively searching for that primary sponsor and have some things in the works that look pretty positive." he continued. "I think we have a great package for a company to market to the race fans at a personal level. Any companies that are looking to experiment we can work with them as well. They can call Paul Joiner at Ideas & Images, Inc at 816-305-0450. He has some very creative campaigns that companies can partake in."
When asked about his chances for this upcoming weekend Brown had the following to say. "This is always a great show. You will have 20 teams in the same barrel all with a shot to win." he explained, "The Outlaws ran there very first race here and there is history at this place. Lanny has a great track and I would like to see my name notched in his list of winners. We have a good shot, I have had decent runs here. Tim (Doogs) has given me what I need so we will just go out there and stand on it."
