ASCS Speedweek Outlaw Speedway preview

Lonnie Wheatley, ASCS - TULSA, Okla. (June 2, 2003) - After an off day on Monday, the fourth round of the 11th Annual American Sprint Car Series Speedweek takes place Tuesday night at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Wainwright, OK, just south of Muskogee.

(June 2, 2003) - After an off day on Monday, the fourth round of the 11th Annual American Sprint Car Series Speedweek takes place Tuesday night at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Wainwright, OK, just south of Muskogee. From there, the series moves on to Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK, on Wednesday night, Paris (TX) Motor Speedway on Thursday, Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, TX, on Friday and Lawton (OK) Speedway on Saturday.

The first three races of ASCS Speedweek provided three different winners over this past weekend. Gary Wright of Hooks, TX, claimed the opener Friday night at Batesville (AR) Speedway, with Eddie Gallagher topping Saturday night's event at Riverside Speedway in West Memphis, AR. Shane Stewart became the third different winner in as many races by notching the victory Sunday night at State Fair Speedway in Oklahoma City, OK.

A total of 66 different drivers took part in at least one Speedweek event over the weekend, with 19 drivers competing in all three events. Upon the completion of ASCS Speedweek, approximately 100 drivers will have competed in at least one event.
