TULSA, Okla. (February 16, 2006) -- With a successful 2006 season opener logged into the record books for the O'Reilly American Sprint Cars on Tour, the series fires back into a action with a March 10-11 weekend double at Baton Rouge Raceway and Houston Raceway Park.

The stars of ASCoT take to Louisiana's Baton Rouge Raceway for the first time in series history on Friday night, March 10, before making the trek westward on Interstate 10 for Houston Raceway Park's Leading Edge Lubricants Challenge on Saturday night, March 11. The double kicks off a crucial stretch of six ASCoT events over three consecutive weekends, a stretch in which the series' leading championship contenders will likely be determined. The Baton Rouge -- HRP weekend is followed by Devil's Bowl Speedway's 33rd Annual Winter Nationals near Dallas on March 17-18, with Oklahoma City's State Fair Speedway on tap for March 24-25.
