CAMARGO, IL (4-21-07) -- The Midwest All Star Series, committed to rebuilding 410 winged sprint car racing in the Midwest, has hired Steve Libby of Pacific, MO as Series Coordinator for the group.

Libby brings to the Midwest All Stars a solid background in business, marketing, and organization. As a former Service Manager for Plaza Motors Cadillac in St. Louis, MO. and owner of Ozark Racing, Ozark Racing Collectables, and ORCA Killer Tees, Libby will put his skills to work managing the new series in 2007.

"My goal is to build 410 winged sprint car racing in the region by providing a great show for the fans, build relationships with race teams and tracks and develop relationships with corporate partners in sponsorship and overall marketing of the series and sprint car racing in general. We are going to bring the excitement of wheel-to-wheel, REAL racing back to the forefront in the region with some great drivers racing at tracks with a history of providing great sprint car racing for the fans."

Guy Webb, President of the Midwest All Star Series, is excited to have Libby on board. "Steve is going to be a great addition to what we are trying to do. His enthusiasm for the sport is contagious and his organizational skills and background in sales and marketing will be a major part of trying to build the excitement of 410 sprint car racing in an area that has a rich tradition in the sport."
