UNITED EXPRESSLINE ALL STAR SPRINT RESULTS - Fri . 03/29/96 DIXIE SPEEDWAY, WOODSTOCK, GA -

Woodstock, GA - Defending series champion Dale Blaney scored his 4th United Expressline All Star sprint car win at Dixie Speedway out of the last five events held there Friday night. The win, Blaney's third of 1996, came aboard the familiar red Hughes Wheel & Axle No. 94 J&J, with a David Brown-Chevy powerplant under the hood. Blaney passed race leader Lee Dunn on lap 16 of the 30-lap contest, and led the rest of the way to take $4,000 back home to Ohio. "The track is the best it's ever been since the All Stars have raced here," chief mechanic Davey Brown, Jr. said from victory lane, complimenting Dixie's two groove surface. Blaney thanked his owner Tim Hughes and his crew for their efforts and Goodyear for winning tires.
