Hull to debut at Aledo Raceway

Monmouth, IL (May 24, 2001) Although the Winged Three-Quarter Midget Association's season began in late April, one name has been absent from the field. Tracy Hull, a long time member and driver in the WTQMA has not started an event this season. Hull has been utilizing his time to prepare his son Aaron Hull for a run at the prestigious WTQMA Rookie of the Year title. That challenge will begin this Saturday at Aledo Raceway.

"We would like to go for Rookie of the Year," proclaimed Hull.

The elder Hull has been a member of the WTQMA for quite some time and has won many races with the series. He hopes to guide his son to the same success in his career. He won't be without competition though, as another rookie has emerged. Alex Coonan made his WTQMA debut last week at the Jefferson County Raceway placing sixth.

Note:
Mike Raymond was the winner of last week's race at the Jefferson County Speedway. The Heat Races went to Raymond and Danny Bradley. No press release was issued.
